Be Ab-Normal!

Do you want to be successful?

Try asking anyone this question and you will be sure to get a resounding “yes!”

Who doesn’t want to be successful? Who doesn’t want to get their dream house, dream car, dream job…dream life? But the question is do you have what it takes to succeed?

If you want to succeed in anything, I’ve got news for you. Don’t be normal. Be ab-normal! As in above normal. The people who are wildly successful are those that are abnormal. Do you know why? That’s because they have a burning desire to reach for their dreams no matter what. They don’t listen to what the world says. Even if everybody tells them, “That’s too hard” or “that’s impossible” or “you can’t do that”, they don’t listen! They pursue their goals stubbornly refusing to be dissuaded.
Take for example Walt Disney. When he wanted to open his first theme park he had to go to the bank for financing. Do you know how many banks turned him down? 303 banks! A normal person would have gone to five or six banks. A more persevering person would have gone to eight or twelve. But was Walt normal? Of course not! If he was, he would never have been able to open a theme park.
Or what about Donald Trump. There was a time when he owed several banks almost 1 billion dollars. But did this defeat him? No. He still walked around like he had money even though he was already poorer than the beggars on the sidewalk. And about 5 years later he recovered all that he had a lost – and more. Now he is worth billions.

Another good example is Steve Jobs. This guy was a visionary. He gave the world a whole new meaning of technology. Steve Jobs was so abnormal that he was willing to leave his own company because the board of directors would no longer support his vision for Apple. According to Jobs, you should never sacrifice your dreams. If you want to succeed you must be willing to do all that it will take. No ifs, no buts.

Do you want to achieve spectacular success in life? Then be inspired by how Trump, Disney and Jobs did it. They rose above the crowd and were willing to take risks. Was it easy? Of course not. But was it worth it? You bet!

Challenge society. Challenge yourself. In doing so you will become the best that your can be.
